A pricing decision is a question about what you think the work is worth. A hiring decision is a question about who you want to become. A refusal to compromise on quality is a statement about what you believe your name means.

Strategy documents dress these up in numbers, but under the numbers is always a belief. Founders who avoid the belief keep re-solving the same surface problem in different disguises.
